翁氏总会庆祝成立50周年

主席两光宗长呼吁年轻一代积极参加会务。
2015年12月12日星期六，翁氏总会举办盛大晚宴，庆祝成立50周年，应邀参加宗亲包括本地、马来西亚以及印度尼西亚加里汶的六桂堂宗亲会，全场近七百人，坐无虚席。
主席两光宗长致词时，呼吁年轻一代尤其是奖励金得主，积极参加总会会务，策划活动，将来接棒成为领导，为总会再创辉煌的50年。
两光宗长也是六桂堂主席，他非常感谢国内外六桂堂宗亲前来参加晚宴，使得晚宴增光不少。
翁氏总会是在2009年修订章程，安排19岁及以上奖励金得主自动成为永久会员。晚宴同时庆祝互助会成立45周年、妇女组7周年和青年组3周年。四庆晚宴设在巴耶礼利峇千禧楼。马林百列集选区议员花蒂玛医生受邀担任主宾。
President Clan Elder Lian Kwang urges younger generation to actively participate in clan activities
On the 12 Dec 2015, Ang Shee General Association (ASGA) held a Gala Dinner to celebrate its Golden Jubilee. Approximately 700 people packed the event hall and these included clansmen from the Liu Kwee Tang in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.
In President Clan Elder Lian Kwang's speech, he urged the younger generation, in particular the bursary award recipients, to actively participate in the association activities and organise events. He hoped this would prepare them well to take over the leadership of the clan in future, in order for the next 50 years to be more spectacular than the past 50 years.
Clan Elder Lian Kwang, who is also the President of Singapore Liu Kwee Tang, said he was very grateful to the Liu Kwee Tang clansmen from local and aboard who attended the banquet dinner as they added much fun and joy to the event.
ASGA had amended its constitution in 2009 to allow its bursary award recipients who are 19 years old and above to automatically become a lifelong member. ASGA also celebrated its Benevolent Association's 45th Anniversary, Women Committee's 7th Anniversary and Youth Committee's 3rd Anniversary.
The celebration was held at Qian Xi Restaurant (Paya Lebar) with MP for Marine Parade GRC (Geylang Serai ward) Associate Professor Fatimah Lateef as Guest-Of-Honour.
