Tangkak Durian Farm One-Day Tour

A total of 30 clan members and their family members participated in our one-day tour to a durian farm in Tangkak, Johor.

Upon our arrival in the afternoon, the owner of the durian farm, Clan Elder Kwang Chiang, had thoughtfully prepared a delightful spread of refreshments, including bread, pastries, bamboo shoot kueh, roasted sweet potatoes, freshly brewed tea, and a large pot of delicious durian mung bean dessert soup for everyone to enjoy.

However, everyone was eager to savour the premium durians, especially the famous Musang King and Black Thorn varieties. The delicious durians were thoroughly enjoyed by all, creating a lively and cheerful atmosphere.

Besides durians, members were also treated to fresh rambutans, mangosteens and watermelon, adding even more variety to the feast.

After enjoying the fruits and refreshments, everyone took the opportunity to relax and appreciate the beautiful countryside scenery surrounding the orchard.

The day concluded with a sumptuous roast suckling pig dinner, which was enjoyed by all.

As a special surprise, a birthday celebration was quietly arranged for the wife of one of our association’s advisors, bringing her great joy and creating a memorable moment for everyone present.

The tour ended on a happy note, with all participants returning home with wonderful memories of a truly enjoyable and unforgettable day.
