On 1 March 2026 (Sunday), Ang Shee General Association held a Chinese New Year Gathering and Distribution of Senior Citizens' Red Packets, bringing Committee Members, members and clan relatives together to welcome the Lunar New Year and share the festive joy.

From 11:00 a.m., Committee Members, members and clan relatives arrived at the Association premises, exchanging New Year greetings and well wishes. The gathering was filled with a warm, festive and harmonious atmosphere as everyone came together to celebrate the joyous occasion.

A lively lion dance and “cai qing (plucking of the greens)” performance added to the festive atmosphere. The Association then distributed red packets to senior clan members as a gesture of respect and appreciation, wishing them good health, peace, happiness and longevity.

Members and clan relatives also enjoyed a variety of traditional Lunar New Year delicacies while catching up and strengthening their bonds of fellowship in a warm and joyful setting.

The New Year gathering concluded on a happy and cordial note. It provided an opportunity for Committee Members, members and clan relatives to celebrate the Lunar New Year together, while further strengthening the close bonds of kinship and fellowship within the Ang Shee General Association.
